A new master's program taught entirely in English at Sciences Po Lille
Sciences Po Lille is launching a new master's program in September 2026: Multilateralism and Transnational Governance (MTG), taught entirely in English.
This program provides a critical analysis of the current transformations in multilateralism and transnational governance. Open to French and international students, the new master’s degree is based on the interdisciplinary approach inherent to Sciences Po education (political science, law, economics and history). It addresses international organizations and global regulation through sociological approaches and offers a choice of regional and thematic specializations.
The program includes research seminars, methodology conferences, mapping workshops, negotiation simulation exercises, and a six-month internship at the end of the course. The program also promotes research skills through the writing of a research thesis in the first year (M1) and the option to pursue a research track in the second year (M2).
The master’s program MTG leverages its proximity to major multilateral institutions based in Paris, Lille, and Brussels. It draws on the expertise of practitioner-teachers and organizes high-level conferences and workshops.
MTG prepares students for demanding and committed careers at the international level, within major Euro-Atlantic international organizations, the UN, regional integration structures, NGOs, economic regulatory agencies, and senior national and European civil service positions, as well as research professions.
